Lucid Motors CEO Peter Rawlinson took the stage at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the AMP-1 production facility in Arizona. During this, Rawlinson announced that the company is developing a smaller and affordable electric SUV vehicle called Project Midsize.
It was stated that this mid-size SUV model will compete with Tesla Model Y and Model 3. Moreover, the vehicle is expected to sell more than the Lucid Air model with a price of 74,500 dollars. Expectations are high in this context.
Not many details about Project Midsize were shared. Because it was already shown under cover. It was announced that the vehicle, which is expected to be seen on the roads in the coming years, was developed in the factory in Saudi Arabia.
